چکیده
Abstract The Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) is one of the major ingredient utilized for manufacture concrete. manufacturing cement includes release huge amounts CO 2 gas as a main contributor greenhouse influence and global warming. Several researchers have investigated characteristics OPC concrete utilizing cementitious materials like fly ash, silica fume, Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag (GGBS) replacement materials. article aims to investigate experimentally flexural behavior beams with GGBS. experimental work was divided into three stages, first consists six reinforced beam specimens (0%, 40% 60%) During this stage, used steel bars were 8 mm diameter 500 in length. In second length reduced 400 best mixture (GGBS+OPC) that obtained from stage 1. third ratio be tested at 7, 14 28 days date casting. Consequences exploration suggests 40 percent GGBS bar can it shows comparable results relative control mixtures (0% GGBS).

Numerical Study on the Flexural Behaviour of Concrete Beams Reinforced by GFRP Bars
Enhancement of the response of reinforced concrete (RC) beams using fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcement bars has become a popular structural technique over the past two decades due to the well-known advantages of FRP composites including their high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. Thisstudy presents n...
متن کاملEffect of Incorporating Foamed Glass on the Flexural Behaviour of Reinforced Concrete Beams
The flexural behaviour of concrete containing Foamed glass as partial replacement of coarse aggregate is investigated. The coarse aggregate was replaced with 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% Foamed glass. All other constituents were maintained the same. Reinforced concrete beams were cast using 2 bars of 8mm in diameter in the tensile zone. The density and compressive strength of concrete decreased a...
متن کاملFlexural Testing of High Strength Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with CFRP Sheets
The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of externally bonded CFRP sheets to increase the flexural strength of reinforced high strength concrete (HSC) beams. Four-point bending flexural tests to complete failure on six concrete beams, strengthened with different layouts of CFRP sheets were conducted. Three-dimensional nonlinear finite element (FE) models were adopted by A...
